Jerome, Arizona is the most haunted town in the world. Local residents often refer to their beloved town as Ghost City. The 400 plus residents are all that remain of this old copper mining town that lies on a thirty degree slope of Cleopatra Hill, overlooking the beautiful Verde Valley two thousand feet below. The red sandstone cliffs of Sedona is visible from Jerome, the only town in Arizona that does not require flood insurance.
We found the town to be full of good natured signs, such as Ghost Inn, Haunted Hamburger, Spook Convention, Spook Crossing, Ghost City Goodies bulletin board and the Spirit Room. Connor Hotel takes up a full block with small stores on the stree level, such as the Spirit Room where you can order a cold beer or something stronger on a hot day.
Tisa Conlin, manager of the Mandolin shop that specializes in medieval decor is located on the first floor of the old Connor Hotel that her uncle is restoring. Tina was kind enough to take us upstairs to the old Connor Hotel and let us investigate with our emf equipment. Once we were on the second floor, Dave immediately detected dozens of energy anomalies on his emf meter that floated around the hallway. These energy anomalies were very strong and appeared to follow us as we walked down the dark hallway.
Sharon captured on film a swirling energy vortex on the stairs leading to the second floor. The swirling vortex is similar to the Sellers vortex. Unfortunately, Sharon was not able to capture the entire vortex on film.
